HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 1992-2031 Amends Title 18, zoning (Not codified)ORDINANCE NO. 9 2 - 2 0 31 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, AMENDING TITLE 18 (ZONING) OF THE NATIONAL CITY MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW A COMMERCIAL LAUNDRY PLANT IN THE PRIVA'lE INSTITUTIONAL (IP) ZONE WITH ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of National City as follows: Section 1. That Laundry Plants (in the Private Institutional Zone Only) be added to Use Group 8 Conditional Use Permit required. Section 2. That the City Council has considered proposed Negative Declaration No. IS- 1991-30 together with any comments received during the public review process, approves the Negative Declaration, and finds on the basis of the Initial Study and any comments received that there is no substantial evidence that the project will have a significant effect on the environment. Section 3. The City Council finds that the proposed amendment is consistent with the economic development policy of the General Plan which encourages development of large-scale business facilities to improve the diversity of the City's economic environment.
