AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-27-78, to rezone from RM-1-PD [Residential Multiple -
Planned Development] to CBD [Central Business District]
the property at 222 Plaza Boulevard)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of
the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hear-
ings were held by the City Planning Commission of said
City and also by the City Council of said City, and all
persons interested were given opportunity to appear and
be heard before said Planning Commission and said City
Council,. and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of
National City has regularly and duly certified to the
City Council its report and has recommended such rezon-
ing and such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and
each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned RM-1-PD (Residential Multiple -Planned
Development) is by this Ordinance rezoned to CBD (Central
Business District) :
All that portion of the Easterly Half of 10
Acre Lot 3, Quarter Section 154, Rancho De
La Nacion, per Map thereof Number 166, on
file in the Office of the County Recorder
of San Diego County, California, May 11, 1869,
described as follows: Commencing at the
Northwesterly corner of said Easterly Half
of said Lot 3; Thence Easterly along the Northerly
line of said Lot 3, 115 feet; Thence Southerly,
parallel with the Westerly line of said Easterly
Half of said Lot 3, 40 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; Thence continuing Southerly, along said
last mentioned parallel line, 125 feet; Thence
Easterly parallel with the Northerly line of said
Lot 3, 50 feet; Thence Northerly parallel with
the Westerly line of said Easterly Half of said
Lot 3, 125 feet; Thence Westerly parallel with
the Northerly line of said Lot 3 , 50 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January
1979.

with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
