HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 16681668 ORDINANCE NO. 1668 AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA (ZC-16-78, to rezone from Density 15 to Density 10 the properties bounded by 20th Street, "L" Avenue, 21st Street, and the north -south alley in block be- tween Highland Avenue and "1" Avenue) WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Government Code of California, proceedings were duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real property hereinafter described, and for the amend- ment of the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were held by the City Planning Com- mission of said City and also by the City Council of said City, and all persons interested were given opportunity to appear and be heard before said Planning Commission and said City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City, California does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled. SECTION 2. That all the below described real property now zoned Density 15 is by this Ordinance rezoned to Density 10: All that portion of Wilbur ad- dition, per Mao thereof Number 251, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, September 2, 1887, described as follows: All of Lots 11 through and including Lot 20, Block 16; TOGETHER WITH all of Lots 1 through and including Lot 20,' Block 9; TOGETHER WITH all of Lots 1 through and including Lot 20, Block 8; TOGETHER WITH all of Lots 1 through and including Lot 20, Block 1; TOGETHER WITH the vacated alley in said Block 1 lying between the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly line of said Lot 1 and the Easterly prolongation of the Southerly line of said Lot 10; TOGETHER WITH the Northerly 10 feet of Twenty- first Street Tying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 11, Block 16 of said Wilbur Addition to National City (Excepting therefrom: That portion of said parcel lying Southeasterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northwest and tangent to the Easterly and Southerly lines of said parcel); TOGETHER WITH the Northerly 10 feet of Twenty-first Street lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 10, Block 9 of said Wilbur Addition to National City (Excepting therefrom: That portion of said parcel lying South- westerly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northeast and tangent to the Westerly and Southerly lines of said parcel); TOGETHER WITH the Northerly 10 feet of Twenty-first Street lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 11, Block 9 of said Wilbur Addition to National City; TOGETHER WITH a sector of land Tying Northwesterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northwest and tangent to a line 10 feet Southerly and parallel to the Southerly line of Lot 11, Block 9 of said Wilbur Addition to National City, and tangent to a line 10 feet Easterly and parallel to the Easterly line of said Lot 11; TOGETHER WITH the Westerly 10 feet of "J" Avenue lying ad- jacent to and parallel with the Easterly line of Block 9 of said Wilbur Addition to National City (Excepting therefrom: that portion of said parcel lying Northeasterly of 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Southwest and tangent to the Easterly and Northerly lines of said parcel); TOGETHER WITH the Northerly 10 feet of Twenty-first Street lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 11, Block 8 of said Wilbur Addition to National City; TOGETHER WITH asector of land lying Northwesterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northwest and tangent to a line 10 feet Southerly and parallel to the Southerly line of Lot 11, Block8of said Wilbur Addition to National City, and tangent to a line 10 feet Easterly and parallel to the Easterly line of said Lot 11; TOGETHER WITH the Westerly 10 feet of "K" Avenue lying ad- jacent to and parallel with the Easterly line of Block 8 of said Wilbur Addition to National City; TOGETHER WITH the Northerly 10 feet of Twenty-first Street lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly lines of Lots 10 and 11 in Block 1 of said Wilbur Addition to National City, Together with the Northerly 10 Feet of Twenty-first Street Tying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly lines of Lots 10 and 11 in Block 1 of said Wilbur Addition to National City, together with the Northerly 10 feet of Twenty-first Street lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of that portion of the alley closed to public use by Resolution Number 9510 of the City of National City dated December 19, 1967; TOGETHER WITH that strip of land, 10 feet in width, lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of that portion of "K" Avenue ad- jacent to Lot 10, Block 1, closed to public use by Resolution Number 5131 of the City of National City dated January 17, 1950 (Excep- ting therefrom : That portion of said parcel lying Southeasterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northwest and tangent to the Easterly and Southerly lines of said parcel, Also excepting therefrom: That portion of said parcel lying Southwesterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northeast and Tangent to the Westerly and Southerly lines of said parcel); TOGETHER WITH the Southerly 10 feet of Twentieth Street lying adjacent to and parallel with the Northerly line of Lots 1 and 20 in Block 1 of sa Wilbur Addition to National Cit TOGETHER WITH the Southerly 10 feet of Twentieth Street lying adjacent to and parallel with the Northerly line of that portion of the alley closed to public use by Resolution Number 9510 of the City of National City dated December 19, 1967; TOGETHER WITH that strip of land, 10 feet in width, lying adjacent to and parallel with the Northerly line of that Portion of "K" Avenue ad- jacent to Lot 1, Block 1, closed to public use by Resolution Number 5131 of the City of National City dated January 17, 1950 (Excep- ting therefrom: That portion of said parcel lying Northeasterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Southwest and tangent to the Easterly and Northerly lines of said . parcel; Also Excepting therefrom: That portion of said parcel lying Northwesterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Southeast and tangent to the Westerly and Northerly lines of said parcel); TOGETHER WITH the Easterly 10 feet of "K" Avenue lying adjacent to and parallel with the Westerly line of Block 1 of said Wilbur Addition to National City.
