ORDINANCE NO. 1695
AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE CITY
OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-11-79, to Rezone from CBD-RD [Central Business
District -Redevelopment] to RS-2-RD [Residential
Single Family -Redevelopment] the Properties at
1018 through 1130 "D" Avenue [Inclusive])
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of
the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings
were held by the City Planning Commission of said City and
also by the City Council of said City, and all persons in-
terested were given opportunity to appear and be heard
before said Planning Commission and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National
City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council
its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amend-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each
of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned CBD-RID (Central Business District -Redevelop-
ment) is by this Ordinance rezoned to RS-2-RD (Residential
Single Family -Redevelopment):
All that portion of San Diego Land & Company's
Subdivision of Block 4 in ten acre lot 3 Quarter
Section 154, Map 13, filed in the San Diego County
Recorders Office November 1, 1886, and of the easterly
one -quarter of ten acre lot 3, said quarter section
154, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of lot 17,
said plock 4, thence southerly along the easterly
line of said Block 4 and its southerly prolongation
to a point 120 feet northerly of the southerly line

of aforesaid lot 4; thence westerly parallel with
the southerly line of said lot 4, 125 feet; thence
northerly, parallel with the easterly line of said
lot 4 to the northerly line of vacated llth Street;
thence easterly 10 feet to the easterly line of alley
in said Block 4, lot 3; thence northerly along said
easterly line to the northwesterly corner of said
lot 17 of Block 4; thence easterly along the northerly
line of said Lot 17 to the point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 'e" day of August, 1979.

on August 21, 1979 by the following vote, to -wit:

until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction

I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
