AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-22-78, To rezone the property at southeast corner
of intersection at Plaza Boulevard & Euclid Avenue
(Assessor's Parcel No. 558-010-47), and properties
on west side of Euclid Avenue, 1000-1100 blocks
(Assessor's Parcel Nos. 558-010-32, 42, and 53) from
CL-PD [Commercial Limited -Planned Development] and
RM-1-PD [Residential Multiple Family -Planned Develop-
ment] to CBD-PD [Central Business District -Planned
Development])
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment
of the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice,
hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of
said City and also by the City Council of said City,
and all persons interested were given opportunity to
appear and be heard before said Planning Commission and
said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of
National City has regularly and duly certified to the
City Council its report and has recommended such rezon-
ing and such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against
said rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code,
and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described
real property now zoned CL-PD (Commercial Limited -Planned
Development) and RM-1-PD (Residential Multiple Family -
Planned Development) is by this Ordinance rezoned to
CBD-PD (Central Business District -Planned Development):
All that portion of the Northwesterly Quarter of Quarter Section
106, Rancho De La Nacion, per map thereof Number 166, on file in the
Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, May 11,
1869, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of
said Quarter Section 106, Thence South 18° 08' 20" East, along the West-
erly line of said Quarter Section 106, 630 feet; Thence North 71° 38'
East, 50 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence North 18° 08' 20"
West, to a point of intersection with the Westerly line of an 80 foot
street right-of-way known as Euclid Avenue; Thence Southerly along the
Westerly line of said Euclid Avenue to a point on said Westerly line
which is 154.99 feet Northerly of the Northerly right-of-way line of
an 80 foot street right-of-way known as Plaza Boulevard; Thence South .
71° 48' 57" West, 121.17 feet; Thence South 18° 08' 20" East to a point
of intersection with the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly line
of Lot 14, Block 6 of Beverly Glen Subdivision per Map thereof number
2787, as filed with said County Recorder, June 11, 1951; Thence Westerly
along said Easterly prolongation of the Northerly line of said Lot 14,
Block 6, 30 feet; Thence North 18° 08' 20" West, 315 feet; Thence North-
westerly in a straight line to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; TOGETHER WITH
all that portion of said Northwesterly Quarter of said Quarter Section
106, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwesterly corner of
said Northwesterly Quarter, Thence North 71° 35' 53" East, along the
Southerly line of said Northwesterly Quarter, 389.54 feet; Thence North
23° 03' 03" West, 69..04 feet to the beginning of a tangent 22 foot
radius curve, concave Easterly; Thence Northerly and Easterly, along
the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 84° 54' 07" a distance
of 32.60 feet to a point on the Southerly right-of-way line of an 80 foot
street known as Plaza Boulevard; Thence Easterly along said Southerly
right-of-way line to a point of intersection with the Easterly line of
the Westerly Half of said Northwesterly Quarter of said Quarter Section
106; Thence Southerly along said Easterly line of the Westerly Half of
said Northwesterly Quarter, 98.92 feet more or less to a point of inter-
section with the Southerly line of said Northwesterly Quarter; Thence
Westerly in a straight line to the point of commencement.

until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on July 25, 1978
and on
August 1, 1978
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
