AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-9A-78, to rezone from RM-1-D-10 [Residential Multiple -
Density 10] to RT-D- 10 [Residential Two Family -Density 10]
the RM-1 zoned properties in block bounded by 18th Street,
Rachael Avenue, 20th Street, and Granger Avenue [excluding
the commercial zoned properties at 1815 Granger and 2808
and 2822-28 East 18th])
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment
of the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice,
hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of
said City and also by the City Council of said City,
and all persons interested were given opportunity to
appear and be heard before said Planning Commission and
said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of
National City has regularly and duly certified to the
City Council its report and has recommended such rezon-
ing and such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against
said rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code,
and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described
real property now zoned RM-1-D-10 (Residential Multiple -
Density 10) is by this Ordinance rezoned to RT-D-10
(Residential Two Family -Density 10):
All that portion of Lincoln Acres Annex
Number 2, per Map thereof number 1748, filed
in the office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County, California, February
7, 1923, described as follows: Commencing
at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 318;
Thence Southerly to the Southeasterly
corner of said Lot 318; Thence Westerly
to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 321;
Thence Southerly to the Southeasterly corner
of Lot 337; Thence Westerly to the Southwesterly
corner of Lot 333; Thence Northerly to the North-
westerly corner of Lot 328; Thence Easterly along
the Northerly line of said Lot 328, 158.48 feet;
Thence Northerly along a line which is parallel
with and 52.5 feet Westerly of the Westerly line
of Lot 325 to a point of intersection with the
Northerly line of Lot 326; Thence Easterly to
the Point of Commencement. All lines herein
described are straight lines.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November
1978.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was not finally adopted
until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on October 24% 1978
and on November 14, 1978.
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of ORDINANCE NO. 1.6.44... of the City of National City, passed
and adopted by the Council of said City on November 14,, 1978.
