HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 1978-1647 Rezone (Special)ORDINANCE NO. 1647 AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA (ZC-8B-78, to rezone from RM-1-D-10 (Residential Multiple - Density 10) to RM-1-D-7.5-H-15 (Residential Multiple -Density 7.5-Height Limit 15') the properties in the block bounded by Prospect Street, 20th Street, Euclid Avenue, and 22nd Street) WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Government Code of California, proceedings were duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of said City and also by the City Council of said City, and all persons interested were given opportunity to appear and be heard before said Planning Commission and said City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City, California does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled. SECTION 2. That all the below described real property now zoned RM-1-D-10 (Residential Multiple -Density 10) is by this Ordinance rezoned to RM-1-D-7.5-H-15 (Residential Multiple -Density 7.5-Height Limit 15'): All that portion of the Easterly Half of 80 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 128, Rancho De La Nacion, per Map thereof Number 166, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, May 11, 1869, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 4 of Anderson and Stephens Subdivision, Map 2742 as filed with said County Recorder, January 23, 1951; Thence South 19° East, along the Westerly line of said Lot 4 and its Southerly prolongation, 609 feet; Thence North 70°48' East, 150 feet; Thence North 19° West, 9 feet; Thence North 70° 48' East, 315 feet more or less to a point on a line lying parallel with and 30 feet Westerly of the Easterly line of said Quarter Section 128; Thence Northerly along said parallel line to the Northeasterly corner of Lot 11 of said Anderson and Stephens Subdivision; Thence Westerly in a straight line to the point of commencement. 1978.
