AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-15-76, to rezone from CL-PD [Commercial Limited -
Planned Development] to CBD-PD [Commercial, Central
Business District -Planned Development] the northwest
corner of Euclid Avenue and Division Street)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of
the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice,
hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of
said City and also by the City Council of said City, and
all persons interested were given opportunity to appear
and be heard before said Planning Commission and said
City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National
City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council
its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amend-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each
of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned CL-PD [Commercial Limited -Planning
Development] is by this Ordinance rezoned to CBD [Commercial,
Central Business District -Planned Development] the north-
west corner of Euclid Avenue and Division Street:
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NO. 552-250-08
Those portions of Lot 64 and Fractional Lot
72 in the Ex -Mission Lands of San Diego, known
as Horton's Purchase, in the City of National
City, in the County of San Diego, State of
California, according to Map thereof No. 283,
filed in the Office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County, March 9, 1878, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said
Lot 64; thence running North along the East
line of said Lot 64, 858.00 feet; thence
West at right angles 660.00 feet to a point;
thence at right angles South to the Northerly
line of the National Rancho, said point being
also in the Southerly line of Fractional Lot
72; thence Northeasterly along the said
Northerly line of National Rancho to the
Point of Beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom the North 459.00 feet
thereof.
ALSO EXCEPTING the Easterly 30.00 feet and
the Southeasterly 30.00 feet of the herein
above described land.
AND ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom that portion
conveyed to the City of National City for
street purposes in deed recorded February
11, 1957 in Book 6452, Page 466, File No.
21615 of Official Records.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of February,
1977.
