AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED 'FLANNERY
ANNEXATION' TO THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
(CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 35310.1)
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of March, 1977, the
Council of the City of National City did pass and adopt
Resolution No. 12,285 giving notice of the proposal to
annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of
National City, said territory being therein designated
as 'FLANNERY ANNEXATION' and said Resolution did describe
the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed,
and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 12,285 did contain
a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the
Council of the City of National City would hear protests,
the time of said hearing being not more than 30 days
from the time of passage of said Resolution, and
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of April, 1977, at the
hour of 7:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Civic
Center of the City of National City, County of San Diego,
State of California, said time and place being the day,
hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 12,285 for
hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City
Council did hear and pass on all protests made to the
proposed annexation and did determine that all protests,
if any, be overruled, and
WHEREAS, the petition filed with the City
Council was signed by the owners of all of the land
in the territory proposed to be annexed and said Res-
olution No. 12,285 declared the fact and all other
requirements of Government Code Section 35310.1 have
been fully satisfied, and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the
City of National City, and is uninhabited territory
in the County of San Diego;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of
National City does hereby approve the annexation of the
territory more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein as though set
forth in full to the City of National City, and does
hereby further resolve that the said territory be and
is hereby annexed to the City of National City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this l9th day of April
1977.

Lot 394 and street adjacent of Lincoln Acres Annex No. 3, in the
County of San Diego, State of California, according to the Map
thereof No. 1754, filed in the office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County, June 11, 1923, lying within the following
described boundaries;
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 394;
1. Thence westerly along the southerly line of. said Lot and
the westerly prolongation thereof, to the easterly line
of the westerly 10 feet of Van Ness Avenue as. shown on said
Map No. 1754, said westerly 10 feet being .vacated;
2. Thence northerly along the easterly line said westerly 10
feet of Van Ness Avenue to the westerly prolongation of
the northerly line of said Lot 394;
3. Thence easterly_along said prolongation and said northerly_
line to the easterly line of said Lot;
4. Thence southerly along said easterly line to the point of
beginning.
