AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-3-77, to rezone from RM-1 (Multiple Family Resi-
ential Zone) Density 20 to RT-PD (Two Family Residential -
Planned Development Zone) Density 15 of the property
located between 6th and 7th Streets, having 165' of
frontage on E. 6th Street lying between 1340 and 1400
(non -inclusive) E. 6th Street; and 215' of frontage on
E. 7th Street lying between 1346 and 1441 [non -inclusive]
E. 7th Street [Assessor's Parcels 557-101-01, 19, 20
and 211)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of
the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice,
hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of
said City and also by the City Council of said City,
and all persons interested were given opportunity to
appear and be heard before said Planning Commission
and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of
National City has regularly and duly certified to the
City Council its report and has recommended such rezon-
ing and such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against
said rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code,
and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned RM-1 (Multiple Family Residential Zone)
Density 20 is by this Ordinance rezoned to RT-PD (Two
Family Residential -Planned Development Zone) Density 15
of the property located between 6th and 7th Streets,
having 165' of frontage on E. 6th Street lying between
1340 and 1400 (non -inclusive) E. 6th Street; and 215'
of frontage on E. 7th Street lying between 1346 and
1441 (non -inclusive) E. 7th Street [Assessor's Parcels
557-101-01, 19, 20 and 21]) :
The West half of the Northwest quarter of
the Southeast quarter of 40 acre lot 2,
Quarter Section 131, Rancho de la Nacion,
Map 166 (excepting street openings on the
Northerly and Southerly;) together with
the Westerly 50 feet of the Southerly
half of the East half of the Northwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of said
40 acre lot 2, (excepting therefrom street
opening on the Southerly).

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was not finally adopted
until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on April 12, 1977
and on April 19, 1977
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
rect copy of ORDINANCE NO. 1570 of the City of National City, passed
