HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 1977-1577 Rezone (Special)exhibits (Limited Business ORDINANCE NO. 1577 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN CL-PD (LIMITED COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) ZONED PROPERTIES TO CBD-PD (CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT PLANNED DEVELOPMENT) AND ADOPTING SAID ORDINANCE AS AN INTERIM AND URGENCY ORDINANCE (ZC-13-77) BE IT ORDAINED that the properties described in "A, "B", and "C" are hereby rezoned from CL-PD Commerical Planned Development) to CBD-PD (Central District Planned Development) zone. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City Council finds and determines that the public health, safety and welfare require the rezoning be adopted on an urgency basis because restrictions on use will cause loss of large investments and the decay and decline of propert Y• BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance is adopted as an interim zoning ordinance pursuant to California Govern- ment Code Section 65858 pending a public hearing before the City Planning Commission, and this Ordinance sha ll expire four (4) months from the date of adoption unless extended by terms of applicable laws BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City Council find that this Ordinance be adopted as an urgency ordinance for the reasons set forth above.
