AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-16-77, to rezone certain properties located between
Newell Avenue and Las Palmas Park and on the north and
south of 24th Street from RM-1-PD-D5 [Multiple Residential
Planned Development - Density 5] and RM-1-D5 to RS-2-PUD-D20
[Single Family Residential Planned Development - Density
20])
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of
the Government Code of California, proceedings were duly
initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real property
hereinafter described, and for the amendment of the Land Use
Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings
were held by the City Planning Commission of said City and
also by the City Council of said City, and all persons inter-
ested were given opportunity to appear and be heard before
said Planning Commission and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National
City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council
its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amend-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each
of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned RM-1-PD-D5 (Multiple Residential Planned
Development - Density 5) and RM-1-D5 is by this Ordinance
rezoned to RS-2-PUD-D20 (Single Family Residential Planned
Development - Density 20):
All those portions of Quarter Sections 127 and
128 of Rancho De La Nacion, per Map thereof
Number 166, filed with the County Recorder of
San Diego County, California, May 11, 1869,
described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of Lot
51, Lincoln Acres per Map thereof Number 1740,
filed with said County Recorder, December 6,
1922; Thence Easterly along the Northerly line
of Lots 51, 50, 49, 48, 47, and 46 to the
Northwesterly corner of Lot 45 of said Lincoln
Acres; Thence continuing Easterly along the
Northerly line of said Lot 45, North 72°02'39
East (Record North 70°48" East), 50.02 feet;
Thence South 14°08'24" East, 95.66 feet; Thence
South 12°07'40" East, 258.68 feet to the
beginning of a 270 foot radius curve, concave
Northwesterly, and tangent to said last described
line; Thence Southerly along the arc of said
curve, through a central angle of 15°06'07
a distance of 71.17 feet more or less to a
point of intersection with the Southerly line
of Lot 41 of said Lincoln Acres; Thence South
72°12'30" West, along said Southerly line,
179.46 feet to the Southwesterly corner of
-said Lot 41; Thence continuing South 72°12'30"
West, 120 feet; Thence North 17°55'00" West,
97 feet; Thence South 72°12'30" West, 120
feet more or less to a point of intersection
with the Westerly line of Lot 33 of said
Lincoln Acres; Thence Southerly along said
Westerly line of said Lot 33 to the South-
westerly corner thereof; Thence along the
arc of the Southwesterly line of Lot 32 of
said Lincoln Acres to a point of intersection
with the Southerly line of said Lot 32; Thence
Westerly along said Southerly line of said
Lot 32 to the Southwesterly corner thereof;
Thence Northerly along the Westerly line of
said Lots 32 and 51 to the point of commence-
ment; TOGETHER WITH that portion of said
Quarter Section 128 described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwesterly corner of
the Easterly Half of said Quarter Section
128; Thence Westerly along the Southerly line
of said Quarter Section 128, 134.25 feet;
Thence Northerly, along a line which is
parallel with the Westerly line of said
Easterly Half, 165 feet; Thence Easterly
along a line which is parallel with and
165 feet Northerly of the Southerly line
of said Quarter Section 128, 134.25 feet;
Thence Northerly along said Westerly line
of said Easterly Half, 60.17 feet; Thence
Easterly, along a line which is parallel
with and 225.17 feet Northerly of the
Southerly line of said Quarter Section
128, 261 feet; Thence Southerly along a
line which is parallel with said Westerly
line of said Easterly Half, 225.17 feet
to a point of intersection with said
Southerly line of said Quarter Section
128; Tehnce Westerly along said Southerly
line of said Quarter Section 128 to the
point of commencement.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was not finally adopted
until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on Sept . 6, 1977
and on Sept . 13 1977
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
I FURTHER CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a full, true and cor-
