AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1593 PURSUANT
TO LAND USE CODE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
AND ADOPTING SAID ORDINANCE AS AN URGENCY ORDINANCE
(ZC-13-77, to rezone certain properties bounded by 8th,
Harbison, Olive, and Plaza including certain properties
south of Plaza Boulevard and east of Harbison Avenue
and the property at 3423 Plaza Boulevard from CL-PD
[Commercial Limited -Planned Development] to CBD-PD
[Central Business District -Planned Development])
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
National City that Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1593 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. That all the below described real
real property now zoned CL-PD (Commerical Limited -
Planned Development) is by this Ordinance rezoned
to CBD-PD (Central Business District -Planned Develop-
ment) certain properties bounded by 8th, Harbison,
Olive, and Plaza including certain properties south
of Plaza Boulevard and east of Harbison Avenue and
the property at 3423 Plaza Boulevard:
The legal description for the parcel located
adjacent to Harbison Avenue at Plaza Boulevard would
be as follows:
The Easterly 330 feet of the Northerly Half of Quarter Section
106, Rancho De La Nacion, per Map thereof Number a66, on file in the
Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, May
11, 1869. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 165 feet of the Westerly
165 feet; ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 40 feet of the Easterly
165 feet; ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFRag the Westerly 40 feet;_ ALSO EXCEPTING
Tr in EFROM that parcel of land described as follows:
Coiiunencing at the Northeast corner of said Quarter Section 106;
Thence South 180 29' 12" East along the Easterly line of Quarter Section
106 a distance of 1,020.91 feet to the true point of beginning ng of the par-
cel to be described; Thence South 43° 45' 38" West a distance of 139.27
feet to .a point of tangency with a 360 foot .radius curve concave to
the Northwest; Thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 24° 09' 45" a distanc8 of 151.82 feet; Thence along a line
tangent to said curve South 67 55' 23" West a distance of 10.36 feet
to a point of tangency with a 12 foot radius carve, concave to the
Northeast; Thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve through a

East along said -Easterly line a distance of 104.21 feet; Thence Northerly
and Easterly along a tangent curve having a radius .of 12 feet and a cen-
tral angle of 86° 23' -58" and being concave to the Southeast a disXance
of 18.10 feet; Thence along a line tangent to said clrnre North 67' 55' 23"!
East a distance of 16.90 feet to a point of tangency with a 440.00 foot
radius curve concave to the Northwest; Thence Easterly and Northerly
curvealong said through a central angle of 240

Quarter of Quarter Section 103, Rancho De La Nacion, per map thereof
Numiber 166 filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego
County, California, May 11, 1869, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 3, Terry Park
Subdivision, per :NOD thereof Number 3785, filed with said County
Recorder January 21, 1958; Thence South 43° 30' 00" West, along a
line which is the Southwesterly prolongation of the Northerly line
of said Lot 3, 414.72 feet more or less to a point of intersection
with the Westerly line of said Quarter Section 103; Thence Southerly'
along said Westerly line to the Southwesterly corner of said
Northwesterly Quarter of said Quarter Section 103; Thence Easterly along
the Southerly line of said Northwesterly Quarter to a point of
intersection with the Westerly line of said Terry Park; Thence North
19° 00' 00" hest, along said Westerly line of said Terry Park to the
point of commencement.
The Legal description .for the parcel located on
Plaza Blvd. near Manchester would be as follows:
Lots 2, 3, and 4 of O.D. Arnold Fstates, Unit Number -1, per
reap thereof number 3700, filed in the Office of the County Recorder
of San Diego County, California, August 23, 1957. EXCEPTING
THEREFROM that portion of Lot 2 lying Easterly of the following
described line: Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of said
Lot 2; Thence North 700 37' East, along the Northerly line of
said Lot 2, 151.58 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING ; Thence
South 19° 23' East, 117.62 feet more or less to the Southerly line
of said Lot 2_
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance is adopted
as an urgency ordinance due to the fact that rezoning was not
advertised correctly and unless this ordinance is adopted as
an urgency ordinance, the intention of the City Council to
rezone this property cannot be affected in a timely zoning
and failure to rezone the property will injure the public
health, safety and welfare by allowing uses inconsistent with
the recommendations of the Planning Commission.
