AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-19-77, to rezone "B" Avenue between Plaza and and-tol2th
Street (except 1107 and 1135 B�� Avenue) from
RM-1-PD-RD)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of
the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice,
hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of
said City and also by the City Council of said City, and
all persons interested were given opportunity to appear
and be heard before said Planning Commission and said
City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of
National City has regularly and duly certified to the
City Council its report and has recommended such rezon-
ing and such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and
each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned CBD-RD (Commercial Central Business
District -Redevelopment) to RM-1-PD-RD (Residential Multiple -
Planned Development -Redevelopment):
All that portion of 10 Acre Lots 3 and 4 of
Quarter Section 154 of Rancho De La Nacion
per Map thereof Number 166 on file in the
Office of the County Recorder of San Diego
County, California, May 11, 1869, described
as follows:
Commencing at the Northeasterly corner of
the Westerly Half of said 10 Acre Lot 4;
Thence Westerly along the Northerly line
of said 10 Acre Lot 4, 40 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence Southerly along a line which is parallel
with the Easterly line of said Westerly Half of
said 10 Acre Lot 4, being the Westerly line of
"B" Avenue, 290 feet; Thence Westerly parallel
with the Southerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 4,
150 feet; Thence Northerly parallel with the
Westerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 4, 100 feet;
Thence Easterly, parallel with the Southerly
line of said 10 Acre Lot 4, 35 feet; Thence
Northerly parallel with said Westerly line of
"B" Avenue, 190 feet more or less to a point
on the Northerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 4;
Thence Westerly, along said Northerly line of
said 10 Acre Lot 4, 10 feet; Thence Northerly,
parallel with said Westerly line of "B" Avenue,
290 feet; Thence Easterly, parallel with the
Northerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 3, 125 feet
more or less to a point on the Westerly line
of said "B" Avenue; Thence Southerly along said
Westerly line of "B" Avenue, to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING; Thence Easterly along the Southerly
line of said 10 Acre Lot 3, 80 feet; Thence
Northerly, parallel with said Westerly line of
said "B" Avenue, 290 feet; Thence Easterly,
parallel with the Northerly line of said 10
Acre Lot 3, 125 feet; Thence Southerly, parallel
with said Westerly line of said "B" Avenue, 290
feet more or lessto a point on the Southerly
line of said 10 Acre Lot 3; Thence in a straight
line to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; TOGETHER
WITH all of Lots 3 through and including Lot 8
and the Southerly 7 feet of Lot 2 of Block 3
of San Diego Land and Town Company Subdivision
of a portion of said Quarter Section 154 per
Map thereof Number 13 on file in the Office
of said County Recorder.
