DINANCE NO. 1462, AN OR-
DINANCE REZONING CER-
TAIN REAL PROPERTY FROM
R-4-PD ZONE, RESIDENTIAL
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
ZONE, TO R-1-S ZONE,
SPECIAL SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE ZONE, AND
ADOPTING SAID ORDINANCE
AS AN INTERIM ZONING
ORDINANCE AND ADOPTING
SAID ORDINANCE AS AN
URGENCY ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Council on
May 6, 1975 did adopt Ordinance
1462, which did extend for eight
months until January 6, 1976 the
interim zoning of certain real
property from R-4-PD Zone to R-
1-S Zone, and
WHEREAS, the findings of fact
made by the City Council in
adopting said Ordinance are still
applicable, and
WHEREAS, the Planning
Commission scheduled a public
hearing to permanently rezone
subject property from R-4-PD to
R-1-S, and
WHEREAS, said hearing was
continued at the request of the
property owner on five occasions
during 1975, and
WHEREAS, the Planning
Commission has agreed to con-
tinue said hearing in order to
allow the property owner to
prepare plans and subdivision
proposals to be considered by the
Planning Commission before the
Planning Commission completes
its study of the zoning proposal
and therefore extending the
reasonable time required by the
Planning Commission to com-
plete its study;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
ORDAINED by the City Council
of the City of National City that
the property situated in the City of
National City, County of San
Diego, State of California, more
particularly described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and in-
corporated herein as though set
forth in full, be rezoned from the
R-4-PD, Residential Planned
Development Zone, to the R-1-S,
Special Single Family Residence
Zone;
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED
that this Ordinance is adopted as
an interim zoning ordinance
pending a public hearing before
the City Planning Commission,
and this Ordinance shall expire
twelve (12) months from January
6, 1976.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED
that the City Council finds that
this Ordinance be adopted as an
urgency Ordinance for the
reasons set forth above.
