ORDINANCE NO. 1507
AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE
LAND USE CODE
OF THE CITY
OF NATIONAL CITY
[AZ-2-76, to rezone from TCS [1]-
PD, TCS-PD and TRC-PD to M-2,
the properties located with the
block bounded by 19th and 20th
Streets and by Roosevelt and
Hoover Avenues]
WHEREAS, pursuant to the
terms and provisions of the
Government Code of California,
proceedings were duly initiated
for the rezoning of those parcels
of real property hereinafter
described, and for the amend-
ment of the Land Use Code of the
City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due
and legal notice, hearings were
held by the City Planning Com-
mission of said City and also by
the City Council of said City, and
all persons interested were given
opportunity to appear and be
heard before said Planning
Commission and said City
Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning
Commission of National City has
regularly and duly certified to the
City Council its report and has
recommended such rezoning and
such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City
Council of the City of National
City, California does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any,
against said rezoning and said
amendment to the Land Use
Code, and each of them, be and
hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below
described real property now
rezoned TCS (I)-PD (Tran-
sportation Center Support with
Special Limited Industrial as
alternate uses Planned'
Development), TCS-PD (Tran-
sportation Center Support
Planned Development), and TRC-
PD (Transportation Center
Planned Development, is by this
Ordinance rezoned to M-2 (Light
Manufacturing):
All of Lots 1 through and in-
cluding Lot 22, Block 45 and the
closed alley in Block 45, and the
southerly half of the closed 19th
Street lying between the Easterly
line of Hoover Avenue (2nd
Avenue) and the Westerly line of
Roosevelt Avenue (1st Avenue),
all according to Map 348 on file in
the Recorder's office of San Diego
County, California. Excepting
therefrom that portion of 19th
Street lying Northwesterly of the
following described line:
Beginning at the northwest corner
of Lot 1, Block 45; thence nor-
theasterly in a straight line to a
point on the northerly line of the
southerly half of said 19th Street,
distant thereon 62.5 feet easterly
of the easterly line of said Hoover
Avenue (2nd Avenue).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this
20th day of April,1976.

foregoing ordinance was not
finally adopted until seven
calendar days had elapsed
between the day of its in-
troduction and the day of its final
passage, to wit, on April 13, 1976
and on April 20, 1976.
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT
said ordinance was read in full
prior to its final passage or that
the reading of said ordinance in
full was dispensed with by a vote
of not less than a majority of the
members elected to the Council,
and that there was available for
the consideration of each member
of the Council and the public prior
to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
