AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-6-76, to rezone from CL [Commercial - Limited] to
RT [Residential - Two Family] and to amend the Residential
Density Map Designation of 10 dwelling units/acre to 15
dwelling units/acre on the vacant parcel located on the
westerly side of Granger Avenue between the properties
at 2414-18 and 2430 Granger Avenue [Assessor's Parcel No.
564-010-53] )
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of
the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice,
hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of
said City and also by the City Council of said City, and
all persons interested were given opportunity to appear
and be heard before said Planning Commission and said
City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National
City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council
its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amend-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each
of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned CL (Commercial - Limited) is by this
Ordinance rezoned to RT (Residential - Two Family) and the
Residential Density Map designation now 10 Dwelling Units/
Acre be changed to 15 Dwelling Units/Acre on the vacant
parcel located on the westerly side of Granger Avenue
between the properties at 2414-18 and 2430 Granger Avenue
[Assessor's Parcel No. 564-010-53) :
Lot 424 of Lincoln Acres Annex No. 3, in
the County of San Diego, State of California,
according to the Map thereof No. 1754, filed
in the Office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County, June 11, 1923.
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion described
as follows:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of said
Lot 424; thence North 71°O1' 00" East along
the Northwesterly line of said Lot, a distance
of 176.67 feet to the most Northerly corner
of said Lot; thence South 18°59' 00" East along
the Northeasterly line of said Lot, a distance
of 60.00 feet; thence South 71°O1'00" West
parallel with said Northwesterly line, a
distance of 103.58 feet to a point in the
Southwesterly line of said Lot; thence North
69° 43' 00" West along said Southwesterly line
a distance of 94.95 feet to the Point of
Beginning.
