AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SPECIFIC PLAN FOR THE LOCATION
OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR PORTIONS OF 9th STREET BETWEEN
"R" AND EUCLID AVENUES AND FOR TERRY LANE BETWEEN "R"
AVENUE AND I-805
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Planning
Commission on September 13, 1976, said Commission recommended
to the City Council the adoption of a Specific Plan establish-
ing the location of street right-of-way for portions of 9th
Street between "R" and Euclid Avenues and for Terry Lane
between "R" Avenue and 1-805, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of National City, on
November 9, 1976, held a public hearing to consider the
recommendation of the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing all interested
persons were given opportunity to appear and be heard before
the said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it
is in the interest of the health, safety, and welfare of
the citizens of National City to establish the location of
street right-of-way for portions of 9th Street between "R"
and Euclid Avenues and for Terry Lane between "R" Avenue
and I-805, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that
said Specific Plan will be necessary and convenient to the
implementation of the General Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that pursuant to
Article 8, Title 7 of the California Government Code (Auth-
ority for the Scope of Specific Plans) , the City Council of
the City of National City does adopt a Specific Plan estab-
lishing the location of street right-of-way for portions of
9th Street between "R" and Euclid Avenues and for Terry
Lane between "R" Avenue and I-805 as shown on City of National
City Engineering Drawing Numbers 3440-D and 2082-D, as
amended by the map entitled "Exhibit B", and Public Works
Department Report #162, copies of which are on file in
the office of the City Clerk as Document No. 58571
and Document No. 58572
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that future street right-
of-way acquisition for said streets be in accordance with
said drawing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of November,
1976.

until seven calendar days had elapsed between the days of its introduction
and the days of its final passage, to wit, on November 16, 1976
and on November 23, 1976
I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
