AN ORDINANCE PURSUANT TO LAND USE CODE OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-9-76, to rezone from CA-PD [Commercial Automotive -
Planned Development] to CG [Commercial General] the City
Block located between 20th and 21st Streets and National
and Roosevelt Avenues)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions
of the Government Code of California, proceedings were
duly initiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real
property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of
the Land Use Code of the City of National City, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice,
hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of
said City and also by the City Council of said City, and
all persons interested were given opportunity to appear
and be heard before said Planning Commission and said
City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National
City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council
its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amend-
ment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said
rezoning and said amendment to the Land Use Code, and each
of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. That all the below described real
property now zoned CA-PD (Commercial Automotive -Planned
Development) is by this Ordinance rezoned to CG (Commercial
General) the City Block located between 20th and 21st
Streets and National and Roosevelt Avenues:
All Block 21 of National City according to
Map thereof number 348 filed in the Office
of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
California, October 2, 1882.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December,
1976.

I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT said ordinance was read in full prior to its
final passage or that the reading of said ordinance in full was dispensed
with by a vote of not less than a majority of the members elected to the
Council and that there was available for the consideration of each mem-
ber of the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage a written
or printed copy of said ordinance.
