ORDINANCE NO. 1341
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING OR-
DINANCE NO. 962, ZONING OR-
DINANCE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL
CITY, CALIFORNIA
(ZC-13-72, to Rezone from TCR-PD,
Tourist Commercial Recreation Planned
Development to R-4-PD, Residential Plan-
ned Development, McMillin's Bonita Park
Unit No. 1 and to Rezone from C-2-PD,
Limited Commercial Planned Develop-
ment, to R-4-PD, the Property at 3120
Sweetwater Road)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and
provisions of the Government Code of
California, proceedings were duly initi-
ated for the rezoning of those parcels of
real property hereinafter described, and
for the amendment of National City Zon-
ing Ordinance No. 962, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal
notice, hearings were held by the City
Planning Commission of said City and
also by the City Council of said City, and
all persons interested were given oppor-
tunity to appear and be heard before said
Planning Commission and said City Coun-
cil, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commis-
sion of National City has regularly and
duly certified to the City Council its report
and has recommended such rezoning and
such amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE City Council
of the City of National City, California
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any against
said rezoning and said amendment to Or-
dinance No. 962, and each of them, be and
hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. Section 4.84. That all the
below described real property now zoned
TCR-PD, Tourist Commercial Recreation
Planned Development (McMillin's Bonita
Park Unit No. 1) and C-2-PD, Limited
Commercial Planned Development (3120
Sweetwater Road), is by this ordinance
rezoned to R-4-PD, Residential Planned
Development Zone:
All those portions of Quarter Sec-
tion 100 of Rancho de la Nacion, in
the City of National City, County
of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 166,
made by Morrill, filed in the
Office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County, May 11, 1869,
and of Lots 65 and 66 of Sweet-
water Heights according to the
Map thereof No. 4805 filed in said
Recorder's Office June 30, 1961,
described as follows:
A Portion of Lot 5 of L.W. Kim-
ball's Subdivision of Portion of
Quarter Sections 98, 99, 110 and
111 of the Rancho de la Nacion, in
the County of San Diego, State of
California, according to Map
thereof No. 63 filed in the Office of
the Recorder May 11, 1885, and a
portion of Quarter Section 100 of
Rancho de la Nacion according to
Map thereof No. 166 filed in the
Office of the County Recorder of
said San Diego County, described
as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly
corner of Lot 14 said Sweetwater
Heights; thence South 57 degrees
46' West along boundary of said
Sweetwater Heights 31.19 feet to
an angle point in said boundary,
being also a point on the Northerly
line of County Road Survey No.
1323, a plat of which is on file in
the County Engineer's Office of
said San Diego County; thence
continuing South 57 degrees 46'
West along the prolongation of
said boundary of Sweetwater
Heights to the intersection with
the center line of said Road
Survey No. 1323 and the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING: thence
retracing North 57 degrees 46'
East along said prolongation to
said angle point in the boundary of
Sweetwater Heights; thence con-
tinuing North 57 degrees 46' East
along said Boundary 647.09 feet to
an angle point therein; thence
South 71 degrees 41' East along
said boundary 365.05 feet to the
Southwesterly corner of Lot 65
said Sweetwater Heights; th
North 9 degrees 12'05" West al
the Westerly fine of said Lot 65 a
distance of 32.00 feet; thence in a
straight line to a point on the
Northeasterly line of said Lot 65
distant thereon North 53 degrees
46'O5" West 112.00 feet from the
most Easterly corner of said Lot
65; thence South 53 degrees 46'05"
East along said Northeasterly line
and its Southeasterly prolonga-
tion 136.17 feet; thence South 1
degrees 08'31" West 405.78 feet,
more or less to the intersection
with the center line of said Road
Survey No. 1323; thence North-
westerly along said center line to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGIN-
NING.
Beginning at a point on the
Southerly line of County Road
Survey No. 1323, formed by the
Northerly prolongation of the
North South centerline of Lot 5 of
L.W. Kimball's Subdivision ac-
cording to Map No. 63, said point
being on the boundary of the City
of National City.
1. Thence Southerly along .the
Northerly prolongation of the
North South Centerline of Lot S to
a point in the Southerly line of
Quarter Section 100.
2. Thence continuing Southerly
along the North South centerline
of said Lot 5 to the Easterly
prolongation of the North Line of
Lot 22 of Bonita Vista Unit No. 2
according to Map thereof No. 3236
filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of said San Diego Coun-
ty May 25, 1955.
3. Thence South 71 degrees 53'
West to the Northwesterly corner
of said Lot 22.
4. Thence North 55 degrees 20'
West 242.67 feet.
5. Thence North 8 degrees
25'30" West to a point in the
Southerly line of County Road
Survey No. 1323, said point being
also in the boundary of the City of
National City.
6. Thence Easterly along the
Southerly line of County Road
Survey No. 1323, and the boundary
of the City of National City to the
point of beginning.
