HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 1973-1346 Rezone (Repealed by 1503)IS05 1346 ORDINANCE NO. 1346 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 962, ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA (ZC-9-72, to Rezone from TC-PD, Tourist Commercial Planned Development to R-4, Multiple Family Residence, Portions of TC-PD Zoned Area North and South of Plaza Boulevard Between Palm Avenue and Route No. INS) WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Government Code of California, proceedings were duly ini- tiated for the rezoning of those parcels of real property hereinafter described, and for the amendment of National City Zoning Ordinance No. 962, and WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of said City and also by the City Council of said City, and all persons interested were given opportunity to appear and be heard before said Planning Commission and said City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commis- sion of National City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended such rezoning and such amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE City Council of the City of National City, California does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All protests, if any against said rezoning and said amendment to Ordinance No. 962, and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled. SECTION 2. Section 4.89 is hereby added to Ordinance No. 962 and shall read as follows: Section 4.89. That all the beldw described real property now zoned TC- PD, Tourist Commercial Planned Development Zone, is by this ordinance rezoned to R-4, Multiple Family Residence Zone: PARCEL "A": All of Lots 1 through 8 of Miles Manor Number 1, according to the Map thereof number 5869 filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County on April 21, 1967. PARCEL "B": All that portion of the Northerly Half of the Westerly Half of the Southwesterly Quarter of Quarter Section 129 of Rancho De La Nacion, in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof by Morrill, No. 166, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of said Northerly Half of the Westerly Half of the Southwesterly Quarter; thence South 71 degrees West along the Southerly line of said Norther! Half of the Westerly Half of the So westerly Quarter a distance of 130 thence North 18 degrees 13' 32" West; feet; thence North 71 degrees East, 65 feet; thence North 18 degrees 13' 32" West to a point of intersection with the Southerly line of Plaza Boulevard; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said Plaza Boulevard to the point of inter- section with the Easterly line of t Northerly Half of the Westerly Half of Soutnwesterly Quarter; thence Souther along said Easterly line to the point of commencement. PARCEL "C": That portion of the Northwest Quarter of the West Half of 80 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 129, Rancho De La Nacion, in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California according to the Map thereof number 166 by Morrill, on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, May 11, 1869, lying Northerly of the Northerly line of Plaza Boulevard and lying Southerly of the following described line: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said 80 Acre Lot 2, thence South 18 degrees 16'06" East along the center line of Palm Avenue a distance of 164 feet; thence North 80 degrees 10' 11" East, 334.19 feet; thence North 19 degrees West, 14 feet; thence North 71 degrees East to a point of intersection with the Easterly line of said Northwest Quarter of the West Half of said 80 Acre Lot 2. PARCEL "D": The Southerly 140 feet of the Northerly 170 feet of the Westerly 110 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the East Half of the West Haif of 80 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 129, Rancho De La Nacion, in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California according to the Map thereof number 166 by Morrill, on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, May 11, 1869. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1973.
