ORDINANCE NO. 1394
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 962, ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
NATIONAL CITY
(ZC-10-73, to rezone and prezone property
bounded by Sweetwater Road on the
North, Edgemere Avenue on the West, 1-
805 on the East and State Route 54 on the
South. National Center, A Limited
Partnership)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and
provisions of the Government Code of
California, proceedings were duly
initiated for the rezoning and prezoning of
those parcels of real property hereinafter
described, and for the amendment of
National City Zoning Ordinance No. 962,
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal
notice, hearings were held by the City
Planning Commission of said City and
also by the City Council of said City, and
all persons interested were given
opportunity to appear and be heard before
said Planning Commission and said City
Council, and
WHEREAS, The City Planning
Commission of National City has
regularly and duly certified to the City
Council its report and has recommended
such rezoning and prezoning and such
amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council
of the City of National City, California
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any,
against said rezoning and prezoning and
said amendment to Ordinance. No. 962,
and each of them, be and hereby are
denied and overruled.
SECTION 2 Section 5.05. That all the
real property more fully described and
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by
this reference incorporated into this
Ordinance as though therein set forth in
full, is hereby rezoned and prezoned as
follows:
a. Rezone from C-2-A-F-2 (Special
Limited Commercial with Flood Plain
Overlay) to C-3-A-F-2 (General
Commercial with Flood Plain Overlay)
the C-2-A-F-2 zoned property in National
City south of Sweetwater Road, east of
Edgemere Avenue, and bounded by State
Route 54 Freeway right-of-way on the
south and by 1-805 Freeway right-of-way
on the east.
b. Rezone from C-2-A-F-1 (Special
Limited Commercial with Floodway
Overlay) to C-3-A-F-2 the C-2-A-F-1 zoned
property in. National City south of
Sweetwater Road, east of Edgemere
Avenue, and north of State Route 54
Freeway right-of-way.
c. Prezone to C-3-A-F-2 the areas now in
the unincorporated area of San Diego
County and proposed for annexation to
National City located South of Sweetwater
Road, east of Edgemere Avenue, north of
State Route 54 Freeway right-of-way and
west of 1-805 Freeway right-of-way.

Recorder of said county, together with

adopted until seven calendar days had
elapsed between the day of its
introduction and the day of its final
passage, to wit, on November 13, 1973 and
on November 20, 1973.

ordinance was read in full prior to its final
passage or that the reading of said
ordinance in full was dispensed with by a
vote of not less than a majority of the
members elected to the Council, and that
there was available for the consideration
of each member of the Council and the
public prior to the day of its passage a
written or printed copy of said ordinance.
