AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 962,
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
(International Horizons, Inc. and Lerch)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of
the Government Code of California, proceedings were duly
initiated for the rezoning of that parcel of real property
hereinafter described, and for the amendment of National City
Zoning Ordinance No. 962, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings
were heldby the City Planning Commission of said City and
also by the City Council of said City, and all persons inter-
ested were given opportunity to appear and be heard before
said Planning Commission and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National
City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council its
report and has recommended such rezoning andsuch amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
National City, California does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against saidre-
zoning and said amendments to Ordinance No. 962, and each of
them, be and hereby are denied and overruled..
SECTION 2. Section 4.35 is hereby added to Ordin-
ance No. 962 and shall read as follows:
SECTION 4.35: That notwithstanding anything to
the contrary in Section 4 of this Ordinance, there is hereby
established and adopted:
A C-2-P-D Limited Commercial Planned. Development
Zone on all that certain property located in the City of
National City, State of California more particularly described
as follows:
That portion of the Northwest Quarter of Quarter
Section 106 of Rancho d.e la Nacion, in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to
Map thereof No. 166 on file in the office of the County Re-
corder of said. San Diego County, describedas follows: Be-
ginning at the Northeasterly corner of Northwest Quarter of
said Quarter Section in the center of a public street, 80
feet wide, running thence South 71° West along the Northerly
line of said Quarter Section a distance of 660 feet more or
less to the Northeast corner of the land described in deed.
to Herman T. Crow recorded in Book 498, page 474 of Deeds;
thence South 19° East along the Easterly boundary of the land
described. in said deed. to Crow and along the Easterly boundary
of the land described in deed to O. A. Staude, recorded in
Book 714, page 411 of Deeds, 1320 feet, more or less to a
point on the Southerly line of Northwest Quarter of said Quar-
ter Section 106; thence North 71° East along said Southerly
line 660 feet more or less to the Southeast corner of the
Northwest Quarter of said. Quarter Section 106; thence North
19° West along the Easterly line of said Northwest Quarter,
1320 feet more or less to the point of beginning. Excepting
therefrom the Northerly 440 feet. Also excepting therefrom
the Northerly 80 feet of the Southerly 179 feet.
The Northerly 440 feet of that portion of the North-
west Quarter of Quarter Section 106 of Rancho de la Nacion,
in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of
California, according to Map thereof No. 166 on file in the
office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, des-
cribed as follows: Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of
Northwest Quarter of said Quarter Section in the center of a
public street, 80 feet wide, running thence South 71° West
along the Northerly line of said Quarter Section, 660 feet
more or less to the Northeast corner of the land described.

Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof by Morrill
No. 166, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County, described as follows: Commencing at the North-
westerly corner of said Quarter Section 106, saidcorner being
a point in the center of a public street 80.00 feet wide com-
monly known as 8th Street; thence along the Northerly line of
said Quarter Section 106; North 71°00'00" East 165.00 feet to
the Northwesterly corner of land describedin deed to Metro-
politan Shopping Square, Inc., recorded July 9, 1965 as File
No. 122765 and. the TRUE 1-11INT OF BEGINNING: thence along the
Westerly and Southerly boundary of saidland as follows:
South 19°00'00" East 150.00 feet and North 71°00'00" East
25.00 feet to an intersection with the Easterly line of
land described in deed to Daniel B. Thomas, recorded. August
2, 1962 as File No. 131529; thence along the Easterly and
Southerly boundary of saidland as follows: South 19°00'00"
East 40.00 feet to the Southeasterly corner of said land;
and South 71°00'00" West 190.00 feet to an intersection with
the Westerly line of said Quarter Section 106; thence along
said Westerly line, South 19°00T00" East 440.00 feet to an
intersection with the Southerly line of the Northerly 630.00
feet of said. Quarter Section 106; thence along said Southerly
line, North 71°00'00" East, 165.00 feet to an intersection
with the Easterly line of the Westerly 165.00 feet of said
Quarter Section 106; thence along said Easterly line South
19°00'00" East 61.00 feet to the Southwesterly corner of land.

feet; and North 89°35'00" East 237.00 feet to an intersection
with the Easterly line of land described in deed to Charles
G. Ketch, et ux, recorded. January 7, 1960 as File No. 2899;
thence along the Easterly line of said land, North 19°00'00"
West 439.00 feet to the Southeasterly corner of land described.
in deed to Charles A. Holland.s, et ux, recorded November 4,
1924 in Book 829, page 293 of Deeds, records of San Diego
County; thence along the Southerly and Westerly boundary of
said land as follows: South 71°0O'OO" West 108.00 feet; and
North 19°00'00" West 317.00 feet to an intersection with the
Northerly line of said Quarter Section 106; thence along said.
Northerly line, South 71°00'00" West 387.00 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPTING therefrom that portion lying
Southwesterly of the Northeasterly boundary of Euclid Avenue
as described in deed to the City of National City, recorded
May 19, 1965 as file No. 89706. ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom
the Northerly 630.00 feet, measured along the Westerly line
thereof.
