AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED 1°MORRISO v
A" VEXATION" TO THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
ER' -AS, on the 27th day of July, 1965, the
Council of the City of National City did pass and adopt Res-
olution No. 8969 giving notice of the proposal to annex cer-
tain uninhabited territory to the City of National City, said
territory being therein designated as MORRISON ANNEXATION",
and. said Resolution did. describe the boundaries of the terri-
tory proposed to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution 'o. 8969 did contain a
notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council
of the City of National City would hear protests made by any
person owning real property within the territory proposed. to
be annexed., the time of said hearing being not less than forty
nor more than sixty days from the date of passage of said Res-
olution, and
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of September, 1965, at the
hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of
the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of Calif-
ornia, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed.

annexation, and on October 5, 1965 to which date said hearing
was continued, the said City Council did hear and pass on all
protests made to the proposed annexation and. did determine
that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of
the value of the privately owned. territory proposed to be
annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by
public owners of one-half of the value of the public owned ter-
ritory proposed. to be annexed as determined by said legislative
body, and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City
of National City, and is uninhabited. territory in the County
of San Diego;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
National City, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of National
City does hereby approve the annexation of the territory here-
inafter described to the City of National City, and. does here-
by further ordain that the said. territory be and is hereby an-
nexed. to the City of National City.
That said territory, the annexation of Thir� to the
City of National City is herein approved, is all that territory
situated in the County of San Diego, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
A portion of 80 acre Lot 1, Quarter Section 126,
Rancho de la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166 on file
in the Recorders office of San Diego County, California, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said 80 Acre
Lot 1; thence South 71° 25' 40" West along the Southerly line
thereof 1041.00 feet; thence North 18° 26' 45" West a distance
of 80.68 feet to the "True Point of Beginning;"
1. Thence continuing North 18° 26' 45" West a distance of 641.63
feet;
Thence South 71° 35' 05" West a distance of 1107.39 feet;
2,
3. Thence South 3° 16' East a distance of 393.62 feet;
4. Thence North 81° 49' East a distance of 18.70 feet;
5. Thence South 8° 11' East a distance of 45.01 feet;
6. Thence North 81° 40' 05" East a distance of 1219.01 feet to
the "Tru,e Point of Beginning".
All as shown on Record. of Survey No. 5862 on file in
said Recorders Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, this 2nd
day of November 19 65 , by the following vote, to -wit:
