AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 962 BY
REZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES IN NATIONAL CITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the
Government Code of California, proceedings were duly initiated
for the rezoning of that certain parcel of real property here-
inafter described, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were
held by the City Planning Commission of said City and also by
the City Council of said City, and all persons interested were
given an opportunity to appear and be heard before said Planning
Commission and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has
regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and
has recommended such rezoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National
City, California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION I. All protests, if any, against said rezoning,
and each of them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. Section 4.8 is hereby added to Ordinance No.
962 and shall read as follows:
SECTION 4.8: That notwithstanding anything to the
contrary in Section 4 of this Ordinance, there is
hereby established and adopted:
(A) A C-2, Limited Commercial Zone, for all that
certain real property more particularly described
as follows:
Southerly 200 feet of the Easterly 165 feet of
the Westerly 330 feet of 80 Acre Lot 1, Quarter
Section 130, Rancho de la Nacion, except the
Westerly 15 feet of the Southerly 120 feet thereof
and excepting the street. (Northwest corner of
8th and Q Avenue.)
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
National City, California this It day of August, 1961, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Allen, Hollingsworth, Morgan, Reid, Hart
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
