AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 962 BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES
IN NATIONAL CITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Government Code of
California, proceedings were duly initiated for the rezoning of those certain
parcels of real property hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were held by the City
Planning Commission of said City and also by the City Council of said City,
and all persons interested were given an opportunity to appear and be heard
before said Planning Commission and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has regularly
and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended such re-
zoning .
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION_1. A11 protests, if any, against said rezoning, and each of
them, be and hereby are denied and overruled.
SECTION 2. Section 4.4 is hereby added to Ordinance No. 962 and shall
read as follows:
SECTION 4.4: That notwithstanding anything to the contrary in Section
4 of this Ordinance, there is hereby established and 'adopted:
(A) A R-2, Two Family Residence Zone, for all that certain portion of
the Hudson Annexation to the City of National City, located at the South-
west corner of 24th Street and Granger Avenue described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of 24th Street, said point
being also the most Northerly corner of "Right of Way Tract F" as
shown on Map No. 1754 on file in the Recorder's Office of San Diego
County, California; thence North 19°13' West 30 feet to the center
line of said 24th Street; thence Westerly along said center line 47.16
feet; thence South 19°131 East 30 feet to the most Westerly corner of
said "Right of Way Tract F"; thence Southeasterly along the Southerly
line of said "Right of Way Tract F" 27.71 feet to the Northwesterly
corner of Lot 428 of said Map No. 1754; thence Southerly along the
Westerly line of said Lot 428 a distance of 168.74 feet to the Southerly
line thereof; thence Easterly along said Southerly line to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 37.5 feet Easterly of the Wester-
ly line of said Lot 428; thence Northerly along said parallel line to
an intersection with the Southerly line of said "Right of Way Tract
F"; thence Southeasterly along said Southerly line a distance of 130
feet, more or less, to an intersection with the Westerly prolongation
of the Northerly line of Lot 424 of said Lincoln Acres Annexation
No. 3; thence North 19°131 West a distance of 38.9 feet to the Norther-
ly line of said "Right of Way Tract F"; thence Northwesterly along
said Northerly line to the Point of Beginning.
(B) A C-2, Limited Commercial Zone, for all other property
located in said Hudson Annexation which is more particularly
described in National City Ordinance No. 977, which said
description is made a part hereof as though set forth in length,
excepting therefrom that portion which is hereinabove placed in
a R-2, Two Family Residence Zone.
