AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND
CLOSE A PORTION OF PARADISE AVENUE
The City Council of the City of National City does ordain
as follows:
§I. The City Council of the City of National City hereby
declares its intention to vacate and close the following des-
cribed portions of its public streets:
That portion of Paradise Avenue that adjoins
Lots 1, 2, 15 and 16 of B. F. Pritchard's Paradise
Villa addition to National City as shown on Map
thereof No. 155 on file in the Office of the County
Recorder of San Diego County, California; excepting
the Westerly 30 feet thereof.
§2. Time for hearing any and all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 2:00 p.m.,
June 27, 1960, in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall, in
the City of National City, California.
§3. Particulars as to the proposed vacation are set forth
in that certain map on file in the office of the City elerk of
the City of National City entitâ–ºed "Drawing Number 23-B of the
City of National City Engineering Department."
§4. The City Council has determined that the public con-
venience and necessity require the reservation of easements and
rights of way for structures enumerated in §8330 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California; and that this pro-
ceeding is taken subject to such reservations and exceptions.
§5. The City Engineer of the City of National City,
California is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this
Ordinance and the time and place of hearing in accordance with law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National
City, California, this, day of ,April, 1960 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Allen, Hart, Morgan, Reid, Hollingsworth
