AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO
VACATE AND CLOSE 19th STREET BETWEEN HOOVER
AND ROOSEVELT AVENUES IN NATIONAL CITY
The City Council of the City of National City does ordain
as follows:
§l. The City Council of the City of National City hereby
declares its intention to vacate and close pursuant to the pro-
visions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code
of California the following described portions of its public
streets:
That portion of 19th Street between Block 45 and
Block 46 and between the east line of Hoover Avenue
(2nd Avenue) and the west line of Roosevelt Avenue
(1st Avenue), all according to Map of National City
No. 348 on file in the Recorder's Office of San Diego
County, California, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Block 45;
Thence northeasterly in a straight line to a point on
the center line of said 19th Street, distant thereon
62.5 feet easterly of the easterly line of said Hoover
Avenue (2nd Avenue); thence easterly along said center
line a distance of 62.5 feet, more or less, to the
southerly prolongation of the easterly line of the
alley in said Block 46; thence northerly along said
southerly prolongation 40 feet to the southwest corner
of Lot 13 in said Block 46; thence easterly along the
southerly line of said Lot 13 a distance of 115 feet
more or less, to the westerly line of said Roosevelt
Avenue (1st Avenue); thence southerly along said
westerly line a distance of 80 feet to the northerly
line of said Block 45; thence westerly along said
northerly line a distance of 250 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning, AND ALSO the alley in
said Block 45.
§2. Time for hearing any and all persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 2:00
o'clock p.m., November 22, 1960, in the City Council Chambers in
the City Hall, in the City of National City, California.
§3. Particulars as to the proposed vacation are set forth
in that certain Map and Drawing Number S.C.-4-P.C. of the City
of National City Planning Department on file in the office of the
Clerk of the City of National City.
§4. The City Council has determined that the public
convenience and necessity require the reservation of easements
and rights of way for structures enumerated in Section 8330
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California;
and that this proceeding is taken subject to such reservations
and exceptions.
§5. The City Engineer of the City of National City,
California is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of
this Ordinance and the time and place of hearing in accordance
with law.

National City, California, this a day of
the following vote, to wit:
