AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 962 BY REZONING
CERTAIN REAL.PROPERTY IN NATIONAL CITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the
Government Code of California, proceedings were duly initiated
for the rezoning of that certain parcel of real property herein-
after described, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were
held by the City Planning Commission of said City and also by the
City Council of said City, and all persons interested were given
an opportunity to appear and be heard before said Planning
Commission and said City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has
regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and
has recommended such rezoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City,
California, does ordain as follows:
Section 1: All protests, if any, against said rezoning
be and hereby are denied and overruled.
Section 2: Section 4.2 is hereby added to Ordinance
No. 962 and shall read as follows:
Section 4.2: That not withstanding anything to the
contrary in Section 4 of this Ordinance, there is
hereby established and adopted:
(A) An R-1, Single Family Residence zone for all that
certain real property more particularly described as
follows:
A portion of 40 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 132,
Rancho de la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166
on file in the Recorder's Office of San Diego County,
California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of N Avenue as shown
on Graham & Bonamo Subdivision No. 2 according to Map
No. 4091 on file in said Recorder's Office; thence
southerly along the easterly line of said N Avenue, a
distance of 467 feet, more or less, to the north line
of 16th Street being also a line parallel with and 30
feet northerly of the southerly line of said 40 Acre
Lot 2; thence easterly along said northerly line of
16th Street a distance of 150 feet; thence northerly
at right angles to the last described course a distance
of 135 feet to the southerly boundary of said
Graham & Bonamo Subdivision No. 2; thence
easterly along said southerly boundary to the east-
erly line of Lot 9, according to said Map No. 4091;
thence northerly along said easterly line and its
northerly prolongation 165 feet, more or less, to
the centerline of 15th Street as shown on said Map
No. 4091; thence easterly along said centerline 185
feet, more or less, to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 30 feet westerly of the easterly
line of said 40 Acre Lot 2; thence northerly along
said easterly line a distance of 165 feet, more or
less, to the northerly line of the southerly three-
quarters of said 40 Acre Lot 2; thence westerly
along said northerly line and continuing along the
northerly line of said Graham & Bonamo Subdivision
No. 2, a distance of 604 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
National City, California, this,? / 0_fjday of September, 1960, by
the following vote, to wit:
