I505 ORDINANCE NO. 1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 962, ZONING ORDINANCE, AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1010, OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Gov- ernment Code of California, pro- ceedings were duly initiated for the amendment of the National City Zoning Ordinance No. 9,62, and WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice, hearings were held by the City Planning Com- mission of said City and also by the City Council of said City, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to appear and be heard before said Plan- ning Commission and said City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended such amend- ments; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. All protests, if any, against said amendments to Ordinance No. 962 and each of them be and hereby denied and overruled. SECTION 2. That Section 8, Sub -section H of Ordinance No. 962, as amended by Ordinance No. 1010, is hereby amended to read as follows: H. In the M-3, Limited In- dustrial Zones, the following uses are permitted: 1. All uses permitted in the M-2 and M-4 Zones, ex- cept (a) residential usages including hotels, auto courts and trailer parks; (b) the storage of materials, sup- plies or products outside of a permanent structure un- less the area is enclosed within a solid fence or wall adequate to conceal such fa- cilities from adjacent prop- erties (c) the storage of all materials or wastes which might cause fumes or dust or which constitute a fire hazard or may be edible by or otherwise attractive to insects or rodents unless said materials or wastes are stored outdoors in closed containers, (d) the storage of materials or waste upon any lot in such form or manner that they may be transferred off said lot by natural cause or forces, (e) commercial and wholesale uses other than those which are incidental to or neces- sary for the orderly devel- opment of an industrial cen- ter, (f) churches. 2. Restaurants, general. 3. Motels. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, this 8th day of October, 1968, by the following vote, to -wit: AYES: Councilmen Camacho, Colburn, Reid, Hogue NAYS: Councilmen None ABSENT: Morgan William H.
