HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC ORD 1959-951 Rezone (Repealed by 962)ORDINANCE NO. 951 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES IN NATIONAL CITY WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Conserva- tion and Planning Act, as amended, and pursuant to the terms and provisions of Ordinance No. 750 of the City of National City, and upon the filing of a proper petition by the land owners proceedings were duly initiated for the rezoning of those certain parcels of real property hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, pursuant to due and legal notice hearings were held by the City Planning Commission of said City and also by the City Council of said City, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to appear and be heard before said Planning Commission and said City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of National City has regularly and duly certified to the City Council its report and has recommended such rezoning. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National City, California, does ordain as follows: Section 1: All protests, if any, against said rezoning be and hereby are denied and overruled. Section 2: Section 4.20 is hereby added to Ordinance No. 750 and shall read as follows: Section 4.20: That not withstanding anything to the contrary in Section 4 of this Ordinance, there is hereby established and adopted: (A) An R-4, Multiple Residence District zone for a•ll that certain property situated in the City of National City, California more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Quarter Section 128, Rancho de la Nacion, according to Map No. 166, made by Morrill, on file in the County Recorder's Office of San Diego County, California bounded on the North by 18th Street, bounded on the East by a line from the centerline of Orange Street at 24th Street to the centerline of Orange Street North of 18th Street, on the South by 24th Street and on the West by Las Palmas Park and the Las Palmas School property. (B) A C-2, Limited Business District zone for all that certain property situated in the City of National City, California more particularly des- cribed as follows: The Westerly 150 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of 40 Acre Lot I, Quarter Section 132, Rancho de la Nacion, EXCEPTING THERE- FROM the Southerly 100 feet and ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 50 feet. (140 feet from the Southwest corner of Palm Avenue and 8th Street.) PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, this L-= day of August, 1959, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Allen, Fessr:an, Hart, Hollingsworth, Hodge NOES: None ABSENT: None MAYOR ATTEST: / CITY CLERK 1 hereby approve the foregoing Ordinance this —'day of August, 1959.
