OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A POR- TION OF A PUBLIC STREET, TO -WIT: A PORTION OF 14TH STREET AND HARRISON AVE- NUE, IN THE CITY OF NA- TIONAI. CITY. CALIFORNIA. The CITY COUNCIL of the City of National City, California, does or- dain as follows: SECTION 1: The City Council of National City, California, hereby de- clares the Intention to vacate and close the following described por- tion of 14th Street and Harrison Avenue, as shown on Map thereof No. 348 of National Clty on file in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County, California, more par- ticularly described as: Parcel 1. Being a portion of Fourteenth Street described as follows: Beginning at a point on the inter- section Of the mean high tide line as shown on Miscellaneous Map thereof No. 2i9 on file in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County. California and the Northerly line of 14th Street, as shown on said Map thereof No. 34.S, s'd i point lying South 10°f43'- 44" West 22d.54 feet from point No. 90 of said mean high tide line; thence North 71°42'14" 1rast along the said northerly line of' 14th Street a distance of 80.27 feet more or less to an intersection with the westerly line of the right- of-way of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway according to deed recorded August 12, IR81 in Deeds, Book 40, Page 117; thence South 5'47' West along the Westerly line of said right-of- way a distance of 43.81 feet; thence South 7142'14" West 89.98 feet more or less to a point on the mean high tide line; thence 'North 10°03'44" East along said mean high tide line a. distance of 45.45 feet to the point of begin- ning. Being a portion of Harrison Avenue described as follows: Commencing at point No. 40 on the mean high tide line as shown on Miscellaneous Map thereof, No. 219 on file in tho Recorder's of- fice of San Diego County. Cali- fornia: thence South 10°03'94" West 32.42 feet; thence North S4°23'57" East to a point on the Westerly line of Harrison Avenue. being also the Easterly line of Flock 307 of National City, as shown on said Map thereof No. 348 said point being the true point of beginning: thence Southerly along the Easterly line of said Block 307 to an intersection with the Westerly line of the right-of- way of the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway according to deed recorded .August 12, 18'1, on file in Book 40, Page 117 of deeds in said Recorder's office: thence Northerly along the Westerly line Of said right-of-way to a point lying on a line produced North 61°23'57" East from the true point of beginning: thence South 83°23'- 57" West to said true point of be- ginning. SECTION 2: Time for hearing of any or all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation, Is hereby set for 8:00 P.M., on the 11th day of January. 195o, in the City Council Chambers in the City hall, National City, California. SECTION 3; For particulars as to the proposed vacation, are set forth in that certain map or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk, of the City of National City. SECTION 4: The City Council has determined that the public conven- ience and necessity require the reser- vation of easements and rights of way for struotures enumerated in Section 8330 of the Streets and High- ways Code of the State of California. SECTION 5: The Superintendent. of Streets Of the City of National City, California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this Ordi- nance and the time and place for hearing. in acrardance with lace. SECTION 6: The City Clerk of the City of National Clty. California, shall cause this Ordinance to be published twice in the National City News a weekly newspaper printed and published in the City of National City. SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall he in full force and effect on the thirty-fir.4t day after its passage. PASSED ANI) ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City.
