The City Council of the City of National City. California does or- dain as follows: SECTION 1: Seat ion 10 of Ordi- nance No. 2 of the ordinances of the City of National City. California is her -by amended to road as fol- lows: Section 10. it shall he unlawful and it is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person to camp or reside In a tent, ramp oar, trailer, and/or other portable she! - ter on any private property with- out first complying with the fol- lowing requirements: (a) An application for +t permit shall be made to the Chief of Po- lice of the City of National City. California: sold permit to be in addition to the permit referred to in Section 2 governing trailer camps. (b) The permit shall be issued within the discretion of the Chief of Police of the City of National City, California. and shall be sub- stantially in the following form, to -wit: De rrn it No Irate..._ ............ California- ...-.._..., for thirty days from date of issuance. This permit void after Data Chief of Police (e) Any permitissued pursuant to this Section shall be void and of no force and effect thirty (30) days alter Issuance thereof, but shall be subject to renewal upon application and within the discre- tion of the Chief of Police the, same as if a new permit were to be secured, up to and including two (2) additional thirty (30) day Periods. In no event shall any permit Issued pursuant hereto be extended beyond a maximum of ninety (90) days. (d) This Section shall apply to portable shelters of all kinds whether or not wheels are att:u•h- ed. (c) No permit shall be issued to any person within the meaning of this section for purposes Of rent- ing any tent, camp car. trailer, an.I/nr other portable shelter or to any person who has rented space for any tent. camp car. trailer or portable shelter. (f) Nothing in this Section shall prevent a property owner from storing his own trailer on his own premises. (g) The permit fee for thirty (30) days shall be Five Dollars (3.00). SbC'FION 2.
