THE CITY COI'NCIL of the City of National City, California, does or- dain as follows: s :CTION 1 : The City Council of National City. California, hereby declares its intention to rotate and close the following described portion of "M" Avenue as shown on Map thereof No. 106 of Na- tional City on file in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County. California, more particu- larly described as folkrws: That portion of the Northwest Quarter of 40 .4c: e Lot 1, in Quarter Section 132 of Rancho de la Nation. Map Number 1(36, as filed in the Office of the Recorder of San Diego County. and commonly known as "M" Avenue, bounded and described as follows: Ail that portion of the easterly half of "M" avenue bounded on the North by the South Line of 'th Street and on the South by the North Line of 9th Street. SECTION 2: Time for hearing of any or all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca- tion. is hereby set for 8 :00 l'.M. on the 23th day of August, 157.t. in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall, National City, Cal- ifornia. SECTION 3: Particulars as to the proposed vacation. as set forth in that certain map or plan on file in the office of the City Clerk, of the City of National City. SECTION 4: The City Council has determined that the public con- venience and necessity require the reservation of easements and rights of way for structures enum- erated in Section W10 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; that this pro- ceeding is taken subject to such reservations and euceptkms. SECTION 5: The Superintendent of Streets of the City of National City. California, is hereby direct- ed to post notice of the passage of this Ordinance and the time and place of hearing, in accord- ance with law. SECTION 0: That, before the ex- piration of 15 days after Its pass- age. the City Clerk of the City of National City, California, shall cause this ordinance to be pub- lished once in the National City News, a newspaper of weekly circulation, printed and published in the City of National City, Cal- ifornia. SECTION 7: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on the thirty-first day after Its passage. PASSE I) AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, this 7th day of Aug- ust. 1951, by the following vote, to - wit : AYES: Councilmen Clarke, Curry, Hart.
