ORDINANCE NO. 728
AN ORDINANCE OF INTENTION
TO VACATE AND CLOSE POR-
TIONS OF A PUBLIC STREET
IN THE CITY OF NATIONAL
CITY, CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CAL-
IFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
Section 1: By virtue of the au-
thority vested in them by the Street
Vacation Act of 1941 the City Coun-
cil of the City of National City,
California, hereby declares the in-
tention to vacate and close the fol-
lowing described portions of "C"
Avenue:
Closing the Easterly 10 feet and
the Westerly 10 feet of "C" Ave-
nue from the Southerly line of
27th Street to a line parallel
thereto and distant 175 feet South-
erly therefrom.
Also closing the entire width of
said "C" Avenue from a line 175
feet Southerly from and parallel
to the Southerly line of 27th
Street to the center line of 2Sth
Street; said "C" Avenue as
shown on Map of Sub -division of
Lot 4 Section 152, Map No. 9
Recorded in the Recorders Office
of San Diego County, California.
Section 2: Time for hearing of
any or all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation
is hereby set for 5:00 P.M. on the
4th day of February, 1947, at the
City Hall, National City, California.
Section 3: The City Clerk of the
City of National City, California
shall cause this ordinance to be
published once in the National City
News, a weekly newspaper printed
and published in the City of Na-
tional City, California.
Section 4; Notices of proposed
street vacation, stating passage of
Ordinance of Intention and time and
place of hearing shall be console -
um :-sly posted along the line of said
"C" Avenue to be vacated, not less
than 500 feet apart but not less than
three notices.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the
City Council of the City of National
City, California, this 17th day of
December, 1946, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Adams, Cord-
ingly, Newberry, Thatcher, Fritz.
NAYS: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: None.
