ORDINANCE NO. 731
AN ORDINANCE OF INTENTION
TO VACATE AND CLOSE A
PUBLIC STREET IN THE CITY
OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFOR-
NIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALI-
FORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of
National City, California, hereby
declares the intention to vacate and
close a portion of the following de-
scribed street:
Commencing at the Northwest epic-
ner of Lot 74 Block 5 of Para-
dena Park as shown on Map 1404
on file in the office of the Coun-
ty Recorder, San Diego County,
California; thence along the North-
erly line of said Lot 74, N 71° 16'
30" E 54.00 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence still along
said North line N 71' 16' 30" El
56.54 feet to a point on the West
line of Palm Avenue; thence
along said West line of Palm
Avenue on a curve to the left,
whose radial Center bears N 79°
69' 35" W. and the radius of
which is 388.13 feet a distance of
234.45 feet, thence S 44° 37' E 4.57
feet to an intersection of the West
line of Palm Avenue with the
North line of First Street thence
along the North line of First
Street N 73° 07' W 90.81 feet;
thence along a curve to the left
whose radial center bears S 16°
33' W and the radius of which
is 261.75 feet a distance of 51.60
feet; thence leaving said North
line of First Street N 18° 15' W
171.62 feet more or less to the
true point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom an easement
for drainage purposes. 20 feet in
width and the South line of which
is coincidental with the South line
of the above described parcel and
the North line running from an in-
tersection with the East line of said
parcel to an intersection with the
West Line of said parcel.
SECTION 2: Time for hearing of
any or all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation
is hereby set for 8 :00 P.M. on the
4th day of March, 1947, at the City
Hall, National City, California.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the
City of National City, California
shall cause this ordinance to be pub-
lished once in the National City
News, a weekly newspaper printed
and published in the City of Na-
tional City, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the
City Council of the City of National
City, California, this lath day of
February, 1947, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Adams, Cord-
ingly, Newberry, Thatcher, Fritz.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
