ORDINANCE NO. 740
AN ORDINANCE OF INTENTION
TO VACATE AND CLOSE PUBLIC
STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALI-
FORNIA.
THF. CITY COUNCIL of the City
of National City, California does or-
dain as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council of
National City, California, hereby de-
clares the intention to vacate and
close the following described streets
and alleys.
"A" Avenue from south line of
14th Street to north line of 15th
Street.
"B" Avenue from south line of
14th Street to north line of 16th
Street.
"C" Aven.ue from south line of
14th Street to north line of 15th
Street.
15th Street from east line of "A"
Avenue to west Line of "C" Ave-
nue.
All Alleys in Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4
of 10 Acre Lot 7, and Blocks 2
and 3 of 10 Acre Lot 8; all in 1/4
Section 154 Rancho de Is, Nacion,
City of National City, California.
SECTION 2: Time for hearing of
:any or all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation
is hereby set for S:00 P.M., on the
rth day of January, 1948, in the
City Council Chambers of the City
Iia11, National City, California.
SECTION 3: The City Council has
determined that the public conven-
ience and necessity require the reser-
\ation of easements and rights of way
for structures enumerated in Section
8330 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 4: The Superintendent of
Streets of the City of National City
is hereby directed to post notice of
the passage of this Ordinance and
the time and place for hearing, in
accordance with law.
SECTION 5; The City Clerk of the
City of National City shall cause
this Ordinance to be published twice
in the National City News, a weekly
newspaper printed and published in
the City of National City.
SECTION 6: This Ordinance shall
be in full force and effect on the
thirty-first day after its passage
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the
City Council of the City of National
City, California, this 4th day of No-
vember, 1947, by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Adams, Cording-
ly, Thatcher, Fritz.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Newberry.
