ORDINANCE NO. :45
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING OR-
DINANCE NO. 32 OF THE OR-
DINANCES OF THE CITY OF NA-
TIONAL CITY BY ADDING
THERETO SECTION 51/2.
The City Council of the City of Na-
tional City, DOES ORDAIN as fol-
lows:
SECTION I.
Ordinance No. 732 of the Ordin-
ances of the City of National City is
amended by adding Section 51/2• Sec-
tion 51/2 to read as follows:
Section 51/2. "Each and every per-
son violating any provision of this
Ordinance, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction
thereof, shall be punished by a
fine of not more than FIVE HUN-
DRED ($500.00) DOLLARS, or by
imprisonment in the City or Coun-
ty Jail for not more than six (6)
months, or by both such fine and
Imprisonment".
SECTION II.
The City Clerk is hereby directed
to publish this Ordinance once in the
National City News, a newspaper of
weekly circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the City of National City,
California.
SECTION III.
This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect on the 31st day after date
of final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the
City Council of the City of National
City, California, this 6th day of
January, 1948, by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Cordingly, New-
berry, Thatcher, Fritz.
NAYS: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Adams.
