ANCE LIMITING THE TIME FOR PARKING ON 8TH STREET BE- TWEEN "A" AVENUE AND HIGHLAND AVENUE IN SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING A PEN- ALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF." The City Council of the City of Na- tional City, California, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 562 of the City of National City, Cal- ifornia, entitled "An ordinance lim- iting the time for parking on Sth Street between "A" Avenue and Highland Avenue in said City, and providing a penalty for the violation thereof", be, and is hereby amended by adding Section 1,ry4 thereto; SECTION 1,04 shall read as fol- lows: "Except on Sundays and holidays, it shall be unlawful for the oper- ator of any vehicle to park said ve- hicle, or for a vehicle to be parked for a period of time longer than two (2) hours between the hours of eight (8) o'clock A.M., and six (6) o'clock P.M., on 8th Street between "A" Avenue and Highland Ave- nue." SECTION 2. This ordinance will take effect on the 31st day after the time of final passage. SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordin- ance to be published once in the Na- tional City News, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub- lished in the City of National City, California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, this 28th day of September, 1948, by the following vote, to -wit: AYES: Councilmen Adams, Curry, Matthews, Thatcher, Fritz.
