ORDINANCE NO. 691
AN ORDINANCE OF INTENTION
TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PUB-
LIC STREET, IN THE CITY OF
NATIONAL CITY,
CALIFORNIA
TIYE CITY COUNCIL OF NATIONAL
CITY, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of Na-
tional City, California, hereby de-
clares its intention to vacate and
close the following described
street:
All of that portion of Fourteenth
Street included between blocks
270 and 271 and extending from
the westerly line of Cleveland
Avenue and the easterly line of
Harrison Avenue, all as shown on
Map of National City No. 31S on
file in the office of the County Re-
corder of San Diego County, Cali-
fornia..
Section 2. Time for hearing of any
or all persons interested in or ob-
jecting to the proposed vacation
la nereby set for 7:00 P.M., Aug-
ust 0, 1942, at the City I-Iall, Na-
tional City, California.
Section 3. That the United States of
America is at war with several
Nations and a state of emergency
exists and therefore this ordinance
is passed as an emergency ordi-
nance for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public peace, health
and/or safety and shall be in full
force and effect as and of the
date of final passage.
Section 4. The City Clerk of the City
of National City, California, shall
cause this ordinance to be pub-
lished once in the National City
News, a weekly newspaper print-
ed and published in the City of
National City, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the
City Council of the City of National
City, California, this 21st day of July,
1942, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Christman, Cor-
dingly, Fritz, Newberry, Thatcher.
NAYS: Councilmen none.
ABSENT: none.
