ORDINANCE No. 711
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF'
NATIONAL CITY, AMENDING
ORDINANCE No. 622. "AN ORDI-
NANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
CREATION IN NATIONAL CITY
OF SEVEN (7) ZONES CONSIST-
ING OF VARIOUS ZONES OR
DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIBING
THE CLASSES OF 13UILD1NGS,
STRUCTURES, IMPROVEMENTS
IN SAID SEVERAL ZONES; AND
TIIE USE TIIP.REOF: THE
HEIGHTS OF BUILDINGS, AND
THE AREA OF TOTS COVERED
BY BUILDINGS; ESTABLISHING
SET -BACK IN FRONT AND SIDE
YARDS; DEFINING THE TERMS
USED HEREIN, PRESCRIBING
THE PENALTY FOR TIIE VIO-
LATION OF THE PROVISIONS
HEREOF AND REPEALING CER-
TAIN ORDINANCES OF SAID
CITY" BY ADDING A SECTION
THERETO.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, do or-
dain:
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 622,
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING
FOR THE CREATION IN NATION-
AL CITY OF SEVEN (7) ZONES
CONSISTING OF VARIOUS ZONES
OR DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIB-
ING THE CLASSES OF BUILDING,
STRUCTURES, IMPROVEMENTS IN
SAID SEVERAL ZONES: AND THE
USE THEREON': THE HEIGHTS
OF BUILDINGS, AND THE AREA
OF LOTS COVERED BY BUILD-
INGS; ESTABLISHING SET -BACK
IN FRONT AND SIDE YARDS;
DEFINING THE TERMS USED
HEREIN, PRESCRIBING T1L
PENALTY FOR TIIE VIOLATION
OF THE PROVISIONS HEREOF
AND REPEALING CERTAIN OR-
DINANCES OF SAID CITY", duty
adopted on the 21st day of August
1945, is hereby amended by adding
at the end of Section 7(b), and im-
mediately following Section 7 (b), a
new section to be known as Section
7 (b.1) :
Section 7 (b.1) That all the prop-
erty included within the boundar-
ies of Olivewood Terrace SubdiS: i-
sion, according to map 1542, on file
in the County Recorder's Office,
County of San Diego, State of
California, is not affected by Sec-
tion 7(a) and 7(b), and that after
the date of enactment of this
amendment, that each single fam-
ily dwelling constructed, erected,
converted, or moved on said prop-
erty within the boundaries of said
Olivewood Terrace Subdivision,
shall have a minimum of 10,000
square feet of lot space, unless of-
ficially recorded as a lot prior to
the enactment of this Ordinance.
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby
directed to publish this Ordinance
once in the National City News, a
newspaper published and printed in
the City of National City, California.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force on the
thirty-first day from and after its
final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the
City Council of National City, this
21st de y of August, 1945, by the
following vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Christman,
Cordingly, Newberry, Thatcher, Fritz.
NAYS: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: None.
