ORDINANCE NO. 668
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING OR-
DINANCE NO. 622 OF THE OR-
DINANCES OF THE CITY OF NA-
TIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA,
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE
21ST DAY OF MARCH, 1933, BY
ADDING SECTION Viz TO SAID
ORDINANCE.
The City Council of the City of
National City, California, DOES
ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance
No. 622 of the Ordinances of the
City of National City, Califor-
nia, passed and adopted March
21, 1933, shall be amended by in-
serting Section 11/2 in said Or-
dinance which shall read as fol-
lows:
SECTION 11: No person,
firm, or corporation shall grow
or cause to be grown or place
or cause to be placed within
the area between the building
line of the respective zones
and the street line of any lot
or property situated in the City
of Nation al City, California,
any trees, shrubs, or vegetation
growing in such a manner or
position so as to constitute a
hedge, fence, or wall, or any
material, structure, or proper-
ty placed in such a manner or
position so as to constitute a
fence, hedge, or wall that ex-
ceeds four feet in height.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk
of the City of National City is
directed to cause this Ordinance
to be published once in the Na-
tional City News, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and
published in the City of National
City, California, and this Ordin-
ance shall take effect and be in
force on the 31st day from and
after the date of its final pass-
age.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by
the City Council of National
City, California, this 21st day of
November, 1939, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Cordingly,
Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner,
Bird.
NAYS: Councilmen none.
ABSENT: none.

ORDINANCE NO. 669
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 597 OF THE
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF NATIONAL CITY EN-
TITLED "PROVIDING FOR
BOUVEVARD STOPS IN THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY"
PASSED AND ADOPTED
APRIL 16, 1929, AND PRO-
VIDING FOR A PARKING
LIMIT OF ONE HOUR ON
CERTAIN STREETS OF NA-
TIONAL CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY DO
ORDAIN:
SECTION I: That Ordinance
No. 597 entitled, "Providing for
Boulevard Stops in the City of
National City, California, passed
and adopted the 16th day of
April, 1929, is hereby amended
by inserting the following sub-
sections in Section I of Ordi-
nance No. 597.
(10) Eighth Street from the
easterly line of National Ave-
nue to the easterly line of A
Avenue.
(11) Granger Avenue from
the northeasterly edge of
Eighteenth Street to the south-
easterly edge of Eighteenth
Street.
SECTION II: The Superinten-
dent of Streets of said City is
hereby directed to post signs and
mark lines wherever practical at
the intersections of all streets
with such boulevards directly in
compliance with the provisions of
the ordinances and of the laws of
the State of California. Said signs
and lines to comply with the laws
of the State of California.
SECTION III: It shall be un-
lawful for the driver of any ve-
hicle to park said vehicle for more
than one hour on A Avenue be-
tween the southerly curb of
Seventh Street to the northerly
curb of Ninth Street.
SECTION IV: Every person
convicted of a violation of Section
III of this Ordinance shall be
subject to a fine of not more than
Fifty ($50.00) Dollars or by im-
prisonment in the City or County
Jail for not more than twenty-
five days.
SECTION V: The City Clerk is
hereby directed to publish this
Ordinance once in the National
City News, a newspaper of gen-
eral circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the city of National City,
and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect on the thirty-
first day after its final passage.

the City Council of the City of
National City, California, this 5th
day of December, 1939, by the fol-
lowing vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Cordingly,
Kilcrease, Thatcher, Warner,
Bird.
NAYS: Councilmen None.
