549.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 540 ENTITLED "AN 0R7INANCE REPEALING 0E0-
INANCES NOS. 496, 4970 507, 510, 513 AND 537
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA, AND
FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND ITS MODE OF PAYMENT
OF CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES. OF SAID CITY."
The Board of Trustees of the City of National City,
California, do ordain ae follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 540 of
eaid City, entitled "An Ordinance Repealing Ordinances Noe.
496, 497, 507, 510, 513 and 537 of the City of National City,
California, and Fixing the Compensation and its Mode of Pay-
ment of Certain Officers and Employees of said City", be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
- That the City Recorder shall receive One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) per month salary to be paid by warrant
drawn upon the General Fund of said City.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause thie Ordinance to be published once in The National
City News, a newspaper printed and published in said City
and of general circulation therein.
SECTION-3. This.Ordinance shall take effeot on the
31st day after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Trusteee of the
City of National City, Ca1iornia, this 3rd day of „February
1925, by the following vote, to -wit:
