ORDINANCE NO. 551
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORD.
INANCE NO. 540, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE
REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 496, 497, 507,
510, 513 and 537 OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL
CITY, CALIFORNIA, AND FIXING THE COMPENSA-
TION AND ITS MODE OF PAYMENT OF CERTAIN
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY."
The Board of Trustees of the City of National City
California, do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 540 of
said City, entitled "An Ordinance Repealing Ordinances Nos.
496, 497, 507, 510, 513 and 537 of the City of National City,
California, and Fixing the Compeneation and its Mode o Pay-
ment of Certain Officers and Employees of said City," be and
the same in hereby amended to read as follows:
That the City Marshal shall receive One Hundred Eighty
and no/lOO Dollars ($180.00) per month salary as such officer,
to be paid by warrant drawn upon the Police Fund of said city,
which uhall be in full of his compensation, and all fees col-
lected by him shall be turned in to the Treasury of said City.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
this Ordinance to be publiehed once in The National City News,
a newspaper printed and published in said City and of general
circulation therein.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect on the
31st day after its passage and approval.
