AN ORDINANCE =MHO THE T
1110 ON PORTIONS OF NATIONAL AVENUE AND
PORTIONS OF EIGHTH STREET IN THE CITY OF
NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA, AND PROVIDING
A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF*
The Board of Trustees of the City of National City,

tz California, do ordain as follows

( SECTION 1. Except on Sundays and helidays it shall,

7 be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park said

westerly and the north line of Eleventh Street, and on
Eighth Street, in said City, from the easterly line of
National Avenue to the westerly line of A Avenue,
SECTION 2. It Shall be unlawful for the operator of
any vehicle to park said vehicle on Eieth Street, in said
City, between the easterly line of National Avenue -nd a

line drawn parallel thereto and distant 50 feet easterly
therefrom; or on the easterly side of National Avenue between
1 the northerly line of Eighth Street and a line drawn parallel
thereto and distant 15 feet northerly therefrom; or on the
v4 westerly side of National Avenue between the northerly line
• of Eighth Street and a line drawn parallel thereto and distant
50 feet northerly therefrom; or an the easterly side of
National Avenue between the southerly line of Eighth Street and

a line drawn parallel thereto and distant 15 feet southerly
v) therefrom; or on the westerly side of National Avenue between
the eoutherly line of Eighth Street and a line drawn parallel
to and distant 15 feet southerly therefrom; or on the south..
weeterly side of Main Street from the point thereon where the

southerly line of First Street produced westerly inter-
sects said southwesterly line of Main Street to the inter-
seotion of the southwesterly line of Main Street with the
westerly line of National Avenue.
SECTION 3. Any person violating any of the pisious
of this ordinance 0011 be guilty oT a Niedemsannr, and
upon oonviction thereof shall be punished for tho first
offense by a fine not to exceed fifty dollars (050.00), or
by imprisonment in the City Jail of said City not more than
five (5) days; for a second violation within a period of
one (1) year by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars
($100.00), or by imprisonment in the City Jail of said City
not more than ten (10) days, or by both snail fine and im-
prisonment; for a third, and each additional offense oommit-
tad within ono (1) year, by a fine not exoesding two hundred
dollars ($*00.00), or by imprisonment in the City jail of
said City for a period not to exceed six (6) months, or by
both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby direeted to cause
this ordinance to be published once in The National City News,
a newspaper printed and published in said City and of general
circulation therein.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take ttect on the 31st
day after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Trustees of the City
of National City, California, this 6th day of 41113
