The BSasrd of ' rusteee of the City of National City,
Californisa, do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. E78 of the City of
National City, Cdlifornia, entitled "An Ordinance artd License
to Regulate Occuupations, sine es Shows, bitions, Billiard
nd Pool Tables, Fortune Tellers„ Astrologers, Clairvoyants and
uas", be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a
S*ction numbered 3 , as follows, ta..wit t
That any and all places of business within eaaid City,
wherein, pursuant to a license obtained from said City, billiard
or pool tables or card tables, or billiard and pool tables and
eard tables are maintained, shall be closed each night not later
than twelve oaeioak midnight..
SECTION 2. That any person or persons vie at .ng any Pro-
vision of this Ordinance or part thereof, ehal,1 b+e guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not to
exeeed the sum of One Hundred Dollars 0100.004 or be imprisoned
not to exceed fifty (50) days, and such conviction shall work a
forfeiture of his or their license and no new or further lioeanae
for maintaining or conducting; any pool, billiard or card table
ah*11 thereafter be issued to him or them within the period of
one year from and after such conviction.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
this Ordinance to be published once in The National City Newa,
a newspaper printed and published in said Gity, and of general
