RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE POSITION OF THE
ELECTED CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
BE IT RESOLVED that the compensation and benefits for the position of
the elected City Clerk of the City of National City are hereby fixed as folIaws: Salary
of $635.25 per month, plus statutorily -required benefits applicable to part-time
employees, including Worker's Compensation and Medicare.

RESOLUTION NO. 95-29
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
DEFINING Tim POSITION OF TIlE ELECTED CITY CLERK

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, that
the elected City Clerk shall be responsible for performance of the following statutory
duties:
1. In accordance with Government Code Section 40.801, the City Clerk
shall keep an accurate record of all City Council proceedings in books bearing appropriate
titles with a comprehensive general index;
2. In accordance with Government Code Section 40806, the pity Clerk
shall keep a book marked "Ordinances" and record in it all City ordinances;
3. In accordance with Government Code Section 40$I 1, the City Clerk
shall be the custodian of the City Seal;
4. In accordance with Government Code Section 40$14, the City Clerk
may administer oaths and certify documents.
