HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 15,564RESOLUTION NO. 15,564 RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY OR WELFARE REQUIRE THE FORMATION OF UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICTS 16, 17, AND 18 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of National City as follows: WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1414 establishes a procedure for the creation of underground utility districts and requires as the initial step in such procedure the holding of a public hearing to ascertain whether public health, safety, or welfare requires the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication or similar or associated service in any such district, and WHEREAS, it has been recommended that such underground utility districts, hereinafter called "the Districts", be formed as follows: District 16, encompassing certain property west of I- 805 and south of Twelfth Street; District 17, encompassing certain property east of I-5 and south of Seventh Street; District 18, encompassing certain property on Roosevelt Avenue between Seventh Street and National City Boulevard. Maps Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, delineating the boundaries of said districts, are hereby incorporated as part of this Resolution, and are�/on file in the Office of the City Clerk as Document Nos. %dT—I-0Z ��/-3 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1.
