HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 15,442RESOLUTION NO. 15,442 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A GRANTEE PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR FEDERAL ENTITLEMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT YEARS 1985-1987 AND AUTHORIZING FILING THEREOF. WHEREAS, the City of National City, California obtained Federal Entitlement Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) pursuant to the U.S. Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, (the Act) for Program Years 1985-1986 and 1986-1987; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Commission of the City of National City, California and the City of National City, California are carrying out and completing this program in accordance with identified Community needs and goals and to the benefit primarily of National City residents of low and moderate income; and WHEREAS, a grantee performance Report was prepared for the above referred to Programs, public notice and public information were given on each of said Programs and a public hearing was held on Tuesday, November 10, 1987 regarding each of said Programs and the City Council of the City of National City considered each such Report and public comment thereon, and wishes to act on the Reports; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of National City, California that the Grantee Performance Report for the following Block Grant Programs for the period June 30, 1986 through September 30, 1987 is hereby approved and adopted and the Mayor is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City Council, to file each such Report with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development: (1) Community Development Block Grant 1985-1986 in the amount of $1,105,000 Grant No. B-85-MC-06-0560. (2) Community Development Block Grant 1986-1987 in the amount of $944,000 Grant No. B-86-MC-06-0560. PASSED AND ADOPTED this loth day of November, 1987.
