RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION 1O VACATE AND CLOSE
THE UNIMPROVED P3RTIONS OF 15TH STREET AND
PATI ER WAY, LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 200 FT.
EASTERLY OF THE INTERSECTION OF 14TH AND 15TH STREETS
AND 300 FT. SOUTH OF PALMER STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City, California,
hereby declares its intention to vacate and close, pursuant to the
provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of
California, the unimproved 60 ft. wide 15th Street right-of-way and the
unimproved 30 ft. wide Palmer Way right-of-way, located approximately 200
ft. easterly of the intersection of 14th and 15th Streets and 300 ft. south
of Palmer Street except fran the foregoing vacation the permanent drainage
easement, situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State
of California, more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein as though set forth in full.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City, that time for hearing any and all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 7:00 P.M.,
JANUARY 12, 19 88, in the City Council Chambers in the Civic Center in
the City of National City, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer of the City of National
City, California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this
Resolution and the time and place of hearing in accordance with law.

DESCRIPTION OF VACATION OF 15TH STREET AND PALMER RAY
A portion of Quarter Section 106, Rancho de la Nacion according to Map No. 166
thereof filed in the County Recorder's Office of San Diego County, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of aforesaid Quarter Section 106, thence
westerly along the southerly line of said Quarter Section 798 feet; thence northerly
along the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of Map No. 2389 and along
said westerly line, 300 feet to the true point of beginning; thence westerly along a
line parallel with the southerline of aforesaid Quarter Section 106, 330 feet; thence
northerly along a line parallel with the easterly line of aforesaid Quarter Section
106, 60 feet; thence easterly along a line parallel with the southerly line of
aforesaid Quarter Section 106, 300 feet; thence northerly along a line parallel with
the easterly line of aforesaid Quarter Section 106, 145 feet; thence easterly along
a line parallel with the southerly line of aforesaid Quarter Section 106, 30 feet to
the westerly line of aforesaid Map No. 2389; thence southerly along said westerly
line, 205 feet to the true point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom an easement for drainage purposes over, under and across that
portion of aforesaid Quarter Section 106 lying continguous to and 30 feet westerly
of the westerly line of aforesaid Map No. 2389, described as follows: Beginning at
the northeasterly corner of Lot No. 32, said Map No. 2389, thence south westerly
along the northerly line of said Lot No. 32 a distance of 5.6 feet; thence leaving
said northerly line southwesterly in a straight line to a point on the westerly line
of said Lot 32 distant Southeasterly 11.03 feet from the Northwesterly corner of
said Lot 32, said Westerly line being also the Westerly line of aforesaid Map No.
2389, the true point of beginning; thence continuing along the prolongation of said
straight line to the intersection of aline 30 feet distant and parallel with the said
westerly line of said Map No. 2389. Said easement to be 7.5 feet on each side of
the aforesaid straight line.
